CRG Ranked 21st in INC 5000's Top Defense Contractors
  With
303.8 percent growth in gross revenue over three years, CRG
ranked 21st among America's defense contractors in the new
INC 5000 listing, which was published in late August. The
company ranked 1179 overall. About a third of CRG's revenue
currently comes from government research programs, which have
seeded many new emerging technologies now being commercialized
by the company. From Ohio, 188 companies made the list, and
nine, including CRG, are from the Dayton area.
The INC 5000 measures revenue growth of companies
in a variety of industries. The listing includes the INC 500,
but digs deeper to show the fastest growing privately held
companies in America. It offers the most comprehensive look
ever at the entrepreneurial engine driving the U.S. economy.
As the INC 5000 states on their web site, "These
[privately held] companies are the elite — a mere sliver
of the seven million or so companies in the U.S. that have
employees. What have we learned about them? The 5,000 fastest-growing
private companies in the U.S. produced $194 billion in 2006
revenue, about 1.5 percent of the national gross domestic
product, and employed more than 900,000 people, about 0.6
percent of the jobs in the U.S." Read
