Industries Unveils New Product Line: Rec'Repair™ Shape
Memory Patch Material
Continuing its mission to transition
and commercialize high-end technology to market, CRG Industries
LLC has released its newest product, Rec'Repair. Based on
the same technology as Rubbn'Repair®,
a smart patch material targeted toward the auto racing community,
Rec'Repair targets the outdoor outfitters, camping, canoeing
and kayaking market.
Rec'Repair consists of a heat-activated
shape memory composite material with a high performance, pressure-sensitive
adhesive on one side. The patch material is fabricated from
a high-strain fabric in a shape memory polymer resin matrix.
The patch material can strengthen or repair a variety of materials
and surfaces and is ideal for jobs too tough for duct tape.
The patent-pending material combines the strength of a high-performance
composite with the formability of duct tape for quick, effective
repairs to all kinds of surfaces.
