CRG Student Intern Wins Edward L.
Horne Award
One
of CRG's interns, Jaime Stahl, was presented with the
Midwest SAMPE Student Symposium Edward L. Horne Award. To
compete for this award, each student had to develop a poster
that highlighted his or her research results and present the
poster to local professionals and potential employers.
The Edward L. Horne Student Symposium
was designed to recognize and reward the research efforts
of graduate and undergraduate students who are members
of Midwest SAMPE student chapters and to stimulate student-professional
interaction. Jaime, a chemical engineering major at
the University of Dayton, won first place for undergraduates
and received $500. Her poster highlighted research on
Veriflex® mandrel (Smart
Mandrel™) tooling technology.
