Memory Materials in Architectural Applications
One of CRG's newest ventures is the development
of our advanced materials and design for architecture and
infrastructure applications. CRG has been investing heavily
in these areas in the past few months with internal funds
to better understand the needs of these communities. Because
CRG specializes in developing disruptive technologies for
existing and emerging markets, materials solutions for architecture
and infrastructure concepts is an exciting area of research
and development.
A few specific concepts that CRG is currently
investigating are the use of our shape memory materials for
deployable housing structures and morphing furniture. We hope
to promote the concept of sustainable design with these materials.
